Andrew's wife & daughter are the inspiration for his passion, and with his parents love of music when growing up, "Music and art consume my life. There is a symphony in everything I paint." Andrew Atroshenko. "I love dynamic expression and feminine beauty. If I can create movement in my paintings and capture a moment in time, then I have accomplished what I wanted."
According to Andrew, The year he spent in America gave him more as an artist then all eight years of my formal studies in the prestigious Russian academies. "I am a descendent of farmers, and I was impressed by the New England’s landscapes, and how a man in America avoids harming its environment." Upon seeing Artists Royo and Pino in NYC, he suddenly realized what direction he wanted to take his art in. After leaving the United States Andrew spent two years in Russia perfecting his art.
Andrew’s work was being sold successfully in galleries across the United States & he was taking part in exhibitions in Europe. Two of Andrew’s pieces were also auctioned off by Sotheby’s in 2002 and 2003.
We no longer have a source to acquire Andrew's paintings. He is somewhere between the Ukraine/Russia town of Pokrovsk the last we heard.

Andrew Atroshenko was born in 1965 in the city of Pokrovsk, Russia. After graduating from the most prestigious art school, St. Petersburg Academy of Art he spent a year in America. According to Andrew, "This year in America gave me more as an artist then all eight years of my formal studies.
I was asked to have an exhibition at the St. Petersburg Academy of Fine Art. Collectors were intrigued by the expressive quality of the artwork and the strong inspiration of music and dance. This was considered a 'rebirth' for my art. Says Andrew. "I love dynamic expression and feminine beauty. If I can create movement in my paintings and capture a moment in time, then I have accomplished what I wanted." Andrew
