Elice Nicely is an American artist who creates paintings of life around her in watercolor & acrylic. Relationships to living things in her environment & to people in her life is important to Elise & forms the basis of her art. Her favorite subjects to paint include landscapes, seascapes, florals & galaxies. 

Light, color, and an impressionistic style are influences on all her work. She is intrigued by the interplay of light & shadow on objects and how that creates changes in color. Just looking at Elise's vibrant  paintings you can see the interplay of light and shadow & how that creates changes in color.
